Joanne uses clay to create works that explore the relationship between the real and imagined, banal and poetic, playful and chaotic. She has exhibited in Cardiff, Birmingham, Rugby, London, Germany and Brussels. Joanne has been teaching ceramics since 2001, leading workshops for children and adults at Gladstone Pottery Museum and as a visiting artist in schools and arts centres.
Caroline's work explores material and form and uses the firing process to capture the form at various stages of the making process.
She has exhibited in Cardiff, Stroud, Oxford, London and Belgium. Caroline has carried out many workshops with school children particularly during her artist in residency position at The St Mary's School, Wantage.
She has since continued her teaching and has worked with all age groups and abilities and is also experienced at teaching people with mental health and behavioral issues.
